FUTURISTIC COMBAT SOLDIERS (MISSION UPDATE) #17 PAINTED SAMPLES HEADING TO POWER CON!

Well, its been a while since our last update but the FCS line has definitely been making some progress and moving closer to completion. Symbiote has been diligently working on the first round of paint samples and has sent them out to us for initial review. With this being such a major part of the production process, we are excited to share the progress and will be showing the fully painted samples at the upcoming Power Con on Aug 11th-13th that's being held in Columbus Ohio. While attending the show we will be taking the opportunity to show off the FCS along with other up and coming properties that the team has been working on like F.I.S.T. and some other sneak peeks of future lines.

Although the paint samples are still in the first round and the translucent parts still need to be cast in the translucent material, we are pretty happy with how they look and are confident with a few minor changes they will be to the exact standard we are looking to achieve.

Here we have some in hand images but we will be posting more from Power Con shortly after the show.

Been waiting to see the FCS in color, well we have some good news. The Symbiote team has sent us the very first look at the base layer of paint on Spartan. This first layer is the base that all the details will be built over to help pull out all the figures details. The factory starts with one figure to insure that they are on track with how we would like the figures to look and once approved they move on to the rest of the team. So far from what we can see from the images things are looking good and hopefully we will see the completely painted figure towards the end of the month.

So this past Monday we were able to sit down with the team at Symbiote Studios and review our third-round samples (engineering samples) and the good news is that after an in-depth review, we have been able to give the green light to move into the painting process. So what does that mean besides us being closer to putting figures in your hands, it means that the next set of samples will give us the opportunity to see the FCS in full color for the first time outside of the original prototypes and we should also get to see the sample cloaks. More good news is the painting process also tends to be a quicker process with changes being made somewhat on the spot allowing things to move much faster than something like engineering (making changes to the molds). All in all, even with some unforeseen delays in the past year I am happy with how the FCS are coming along and excited to bring each character into plastic form and into everyone's hands. Below we have attached some more pictures of this set of samples showing them in some cool poses and next to some preexisting lines you guys may already have.

Tonight 03/29/23 at 06:30 eastern time we will be doing a live on Instagram going over the current updates that were made to the figures and answering any questions that you guys may have about the line. More images of the figures will also be posted on IG for those that get a chance to drop in.

With the new year starting it's that time for a few updates. First all of us here at Invincible Toys hope that everyone has had a great holiday season and is having a smooth start into the new year. With that being said let's jump into the Futuristic Combat Soldiers and a few updates. First as we discussed in the last update we received the 2nd round figure samples, made some adjustments and are now waiting on the 3rd set to come in from the factory. This was done a while back with hopes to be able to get the new samples to us before the Chinese New Year started. For those who are unfamiliar with Chinese New Year's, its Chinas New Year calibration that's one of the most celebrated holidays in China that lasts around 15 days allowing everything to shut down and people to celebrate the coming of the new year's. With this taking place and a few working limitations from Covid the team was unable to complete the full set of revised samples and get them out to us in time. The team was however able to let us know that 4 out of five figures were completed and the fourth should be done soon after they return from the holidays. In the meantime, we haven't been slowing down and have been working hard on getting the Future Descending Vol1 comic completed and are almost finished. Once this is complete everyone that has purchased a copy be it physical or digital will receive a link to the digital copy so everyone will be able to experience the epic stories of the FCS at the same time, while the physical copies are being printed.

Seasons greetings from the Invincible Toys team,

All of us here at Invincible Toys wanted to drop in and say we hope everyone is having a great holiday season. As we are approaching Christmas I received the question, will we get to see Futuristic Combat Soldiers under the tree this December. As much as I would love to say yes to that question we are still working with Symbiote Studios to make sure the FCS are the best figures we can. We recently received our second round samples and things are progressing slowly but surely. Good news is as changes are being made to the figures themselves the factory has moved into working on the cloth goods capes to ensure the production process can be as efficient and timely as possible. I will be doing a live on Instagram reviewing the new updates soon but here we can see a nice sample of the double sided capes that Spartan and Cowboy will come with. This is the first mock up and is still missing paint and its clasp as these will be added later on. This sample will be sent out soon for review and once received another update will be given with more images and thoughts.
